Drake's Brewery is a client with one of the design agencies I work with. They approached us in 2016 to create an evocative illustration and various advertising across print and digital for their monthly Brewer vs Brewer seated dinner events. They are still using these designs four years later (yes, even 2020 before COVID hit)!
I worked with my creative director on the illustration development. Fully responsible for typography, layout and color. We pulled inspiration from 1950-1960s boxing advertisements to play into the competitiveness of the event. We modified and updated a public source image and gave the layouts an off-kilter screenprint treatment.
